About LDAC Legacy Scholarship
To honor the dedication of our LDAC Brothers with daughters and sons by supporting the educational aspirations of their children. This scholarship aims to encourage academic excellence, community involvement, and leadership skills among high school female students of LDAC Brothers.

Eligibility Criteria
• Relationship to LDAC: Applicant must be a daughter, son, and/or legal dependent of a current chapter member who has been a financial member of LDAC for at least 2 consecutive years.
• Academic Standing: Must be a current high school student (graduating senior) with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
•Post-Secondary Intent: Must be planning to enroll in an accredited college, university, or vocational institution.
Other Criteria:
• Demonstrates leadership through extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or community involvement.
Requirements
  • Completed application form.
  • High school transcript.
  • Essay (250–300 words) on the following topic:
    “A true legacy is often measured by the positive impact one leaves on the world.” Describe a way in which your family member's connection to LDAC: Kappa Alpha Psi has inspired your commitment to achievement, service, or leadership in your community. How will you utilize the LDAC Legacy Scholarship to translate that inspiration into a tangible yet personal reality?
  • One letter of recommendation (e.g., from an LDAC member).

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by April 16, 2026.

Submission Method: Applications can be submitted online through the LDAC Scholarship Website.

Terms and Conditions

Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the recipient upon proof of enrollment.
LDAC reserves the right to modify or terminate the Legacy program at its discretion.

Donor Lawrenceville-Duluth (GA) Alumni Chapter (LDAC)
Scholarship Award: Up to $500.00
Deadline April 16, 2026
Minimum GPA: 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
Academic Classification: Graduating High School Senior, College Undergraduate
Concentration Applicant must be a daughter, son, and/or legal dependent of a current chapter member who has been a financial member of LDAC for at least 2 consecutive years.
